Frequently asked questions
The Ride System includes:
Propulsion system (2 motors)
Integrated control system; speed controller, direction control (forward & reverse)
Fright Ideas based brain - FlexMax 2
Cart positioning & start up trigger system (4 triggers with mounting hardware)
Wheel truck assemblies (4) trucks (16) wheels
Wheel truck swivels (2) & bearings (8) - this allows the cart to turn on curved track.
*Structural materials such as wood framing and PVC rails are not included.
The system does not include track PVC, wood framing, walls, scenery, lighting, or sound systems. These are builder-supplied based on your installation.
The system uses 2, high torque, 12v controlled drive motors. It includes programmable acceleration, deceleration, forward and reverse operation. Motion is managed through a scene-based control system with sensor-triggered acceleration and stopping.
The system uses proximity sensors mounted along the track. These trigger programmed scenes that control speed, stopping, and direction changes.
The ride system is engineered for approximately 750–1000 lb total cart load, depending on configuration and installation.
The system uses a modular polymer rail system (1.5” Schedule 40 PVC) supported by engineered brace structures with integrated wood reinforcement.
The system is designed with inspection-informed engineering principles. Final safety approval depends on installation, local codes, and builder implementation.
No. This is a modular ride system platform designed for builders. It provides the engineered motion system - your team completes the environment, structure, and installation.
The system is designed for straightforward installation by builders familiar with framing, alignment, and basic electrical setup. The foundational engineering was to create a modular ride system that basic builders could assemble.
Yes. The modular design allows expansion of track layout, scene integration, and control system complexity.
Yes. Engineering configuration and commissioning support are available depending on your system package.
Warranty: All 3D print designed components are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
